Psykrometrisissä
Psykrometrinen refers to the measurement of atmospheric humidity using a psychrometer. A psychrometer consists of two thermometers: a dry-bulb thermometer and a wet-bulb thermometer. The dry-bulb thermometer measures the ambient air temperature, while the wet-bulb thermometer has its bulb covered in a moist cloth. As water evaporates from the cloth, it cools the wet-bulb thermometer. The rate of evaporation, and thus the cooling effect, depends on the amount of moisture already present in the air.
