Productorilor

Productorilor is the diacritics-free form of the Romanian word producător in its genitive/dative plural, corresponding to producătorilor with proper diacritics. It denotes possession (the producers’ book) or an indirect object (to/for the producers) and is used in contexts that require the oblique case for multiple producers.

In standard Romanian, producătorului is the singular, while the plural nominative is producătorii. The genitive/dative plural form is producătorilor. The non-diacritic variant, productorilor, appears in texts without diacritics or in ASCII-only writing, but it carries the same grammatical function as the diacritics version.

Usage examples include: cartea producătorilor (the producers’ book); contractul producătorilor (the producers’ contract); drepturile producătorilor la compensații (the producers’ rights to compensation). The form is common in formal, legal, administrative, and academic language, where possession, origin, or beneficiary relationships among multiple producers are described.

Note: While productorilor is acceptable in non-diacritic contexts, proper Romanian spelling uses producătorilor when diacritics are available. The distinction is primarily orthographic rather than lexical, and both forms share the same grammatical role in sentences.
