Primærboligen

Primærboligen is the Norwegian term for the primary residence or main dwelling of a person or family. In law and taxation, primærbolig denotes the dwelling that is used as the owner's principal home and often serves as the basis for favorable tax treatment and official designation.

Determination and designation are based on actual use and the person’s living pattern. Factors include where the person primarily resides, where the household is based, and where the address is registered in public records.
