Presentáis

Presentáis is the second person plural present indicative form of the Spanish verb presentar. It is used with the pronoun vosotros, which is common in Spain and some parts of the Americas. The meaning is “you all present” or “you all are presenting,” as in presenting information, a proposal, a person, or an item to an audience. When used reflexively with presentarse, it can also mean “you all introduce yourselves.”

Conjugation and form: presentar is a regular -ar verb. In the present indicative, the paradigm is: yo presento, tú presentas, él presenta, nosotros presentamos, vosotros presentáis, ellos presentan. The form presentáis includes an accent on the í to indicate the correct stress.

Examples: “Hoy presentáis vuestro informe al comité.” “¿Presentáis la propuesta ante la dirección?” When the verb is reflexive, as in presenting yourselves, the construction is vosotros os presentáis, with the clitic os preceding the verb: “Vosotros os presentáis ante la audiencia.” In many Latin American dialects, the vosotros form is rare or absent; the corresponding form is ustedes presentan.
