Predvideno

Predvideno is a Slovenian term used as an adjective and past participle derived from the verb predvideti, meaning to foresee or to anticipate. It denotes something that has been foreseen, anticipated, or planned in advance. The form agrees with gender and number: predviden (masculine singular), predvidena (feminine singular), predvideno (neuter singular); predvideni (masculine plural), predvidene (feminine or neuter plural). In impersonal constructions it often appears as predvideno je, meaning “it is expected” or “it is foreseen.”

Common contexts include planning, forecasting, and official documents: predvideno trajanje (planned duration), predvideno število udeležencev (the expected number of participants), predvidena uvedba (the planned introduction). In weather forecasts or risk assessments, predvideno vreme may be used to convey forecasted conditions.

Etymology: formed from pred- (before) and videti (to see), literally “seen beforehand.”
