Prírodný

Prírodné is a small village located in the Trebišov District of the Košice Region in eastern Slovakia. It lies at an elevation of 174 meters above sea level.

The village has a predominantly agricultural character, with the main occupations being farming and livestock breeding. The surrounding landscape is relatively flat, allowing for extensive farming activities. Prírodné also features picturesque woods, particularly the nearby Luka Forest, which adds to its natural charm.

The village has a relatively small population of around 230 residents, as of the last census. The majority of the residents live in single-family houses, with some multi-apartment buildings also present. Prírodné lies within walking distance to the nearby town of Velké Trakany, which serves as a service and administrative hub for the surrounding villages.

In terms of infrastructure, the village has basic amenities such as a grocery store, a post office, and a sanctioning facility for providing water and other essential services. Valuable local monuments include the stone-arched entrance to the village and a well-preserved wooden calvary from the 18th century.

Given its rural location and size, Prírodné has primarily preserved its original charm while slowly integrating into the modern world. As the primary activity of the village is based on farming and stockbreeding, most visitors come to the village as tourists or on specific occasions.
