This stage typically includes editing, where the selected takes are arranged in sequence, their timing adjusted, and transitions are created. Color correction and grading are also vital, as they enhance the visual aesthetic, ensure consistency between shots, and establish a particular mood or atmosphere. Sound design is another critical component, involving the mixing of dialogue, sound effects, and music, as well as the addition of foley and ambient sounds to create a rich auditory experience. Visual effects (VFX) may be integrated to create elements that were not captured during filming or to enhance existing footage. Finally, the project is rendered and exported into various formats suitable for distribution.
