Posteringene
Posteringene, also known as the Poster Children, were a group of five children who gained international fame in 1984 when their photographs were used in a controversial advertising campaign for the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten. The children, aged between 10 and 14, were chosen for their striking appearance and were paid a total of 100,000 Norwegian kroner for their participation. The campaign, which featured the children in various provocative poses, sparked widespread debate and criticism, particularly in Norway, where the children were seen as being exploited for commercial gain. The incident highlighted issues of child exploitation and the ethical implications of using children in advertising. The Posteringene's story has since become a part of Norwegian cultural history and a cautionary tale about the use of children in media.
