Pooljuhtseadis

Pooljuhtseadis refers to a motor-driven match in grassroots volleyball, specifically in the Estonian volleyball league. This type of match is typically used to determine promotion and relegation among lower-division teams.

In the context of Estonian volleyball, pooljuhtseadis takes place at the end of each season. The teams that finish in the relegation places in the previous season surely get relegated. Additionally, teams that finished below the sixth or seventh place usually have to compete in a pooljuhtseadis.

The pooljuhtseadis typically involves teams from the previous season, along with a few teams from the top division that finish in lower places. These teams compete against each other in a series of matches, often in a round-robin format, with the top teams earning promotion to the top division for the following season. Conversely, the bottom teams are relegated to the division below.
