Pontcysyllte
Pontcysyllte is a village and community in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It is located approximately 10 miles north of Wrexham and 15 miles south of Chester. The village is situated on the River Dee, which forms the border between England and Wales at this point. Pontcysyllte is known for its historic aqueduct, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which was built in the 19th century to supply water to the nearby ironworks.
