Pomija

Pomija is the third-person singular present tense form of the Polish imperfective verb pomijać. It means to omit, skip, or disregard something, often implying that details, steps, or data are being left out in speech or writing.

The verb pomijać is derived from the prefix po- attached to mijać (to pass by), giving the sense of passing over or overlooking. The nuance can cover intentional omission as well as inadvertent neglect, depending on context.
