Polygonální
Polygonální is a term derived from the Greek words "poly" meaning "many" and "gonia" meaning "angle". In geometry, a polygon is a two-dimensional shape formed by a finite number of straight line segments (sides) connected to form a closed polygonal chain or circuit. Polygons are classified based on the number of sides they have, such as triangles (3 sides), quadrilaterals (4 sides), pentagons (5 sides), and so on. The study of polygons is a fundamental aspect of geometry and has applications in various fields, including architecture, engineering, and computer graphics. Polygons can be regular, where all sides and angles are equal, or irregular, where sides and angles vary. The interior angles of a polygon can be calculated using the formula (n-2) * 180 degrees, where n is the number of sides. Polygons are also used in tessellations, where they fit together without gaps or overlaps to cover a plane. The concept of polygons extends to three-dimensional shapes, known as polyhedra, which are solids bounded by polygonal faces.
