Pokomo
The Pokomo people are a Bantu ethnic group inhabiting the Tana River Delta in southeastern Kenya. Their traditional homeland is along the Tana River, a region characterized by fertile floodplains and seasonal flooding. The Pokomo are primarily agriculturalists, cultivating crops such as maize, beans, bananas, and sorghum. Historically, they also relied on fishing and livestock herding.
