Poissuljemekanismi, also known as the Poisson mechanism, is a mathematical model used to describe the distribution of points in space or time. The Poisson mechanism is characterized by the following properties:

2. The points are distributed independently of each other. This means that the position of one point does not affect the position of any other point.

3. The intensity of the points, which is the average number of points per unit area or volume, is constant throughout the space or time.

The Poisson mechanism is widely used in various fields, including ecology, epidemiology, and telecommunications, to model the spatial or temporal distribution of events. It is particularly useful when the events are rare and occur independently of each other.
