Piauí
Piauí is a state located in the northeastern region of Brazil. It is bordered by the states of Ceará to the north, Pernambuco and Bahia to the south, Maranhão to the west, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. The state capital is Teresina, which is the only state capital in the Northeast that is not located on the coast. Piauí is known for its diverse geography, ranging from semi-arid caatinga in the interior to coastal wetlands.
The economy of Piauí is primarily based on agriculture, with significant production of soybeans, corn, and cotton.
Historically, Piauí played a role in Brazil's colonial past, with early settlements and involvement in cattle
