Peterbilt Motors Company is an American manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks. It operates as a brand of PACCAR Inc. and is known for its conventional-cab, long-nose trucks used in long-haul, regional, and vocational service.

Founded in 1939, Peterbilt became part of PACCAR in 1958. The company maintains a North American production and sales network with a nationwide dealer footprint.

Its product lineup includes on-highway tractors and vocational trucks. Notable models include the long-nose Model 379 (later superseded by the 389) and the aerodynamic Model 587, with newer generations such as the 579.

Design and engineering emphasize durability, driver comfort, and distinctive styling, including a prominent chrome grille and a traditional cab-forward silhouette. Peterbilt trucks are supported by PACCAR's parts and service network.
