Peruniverses

Peruniverses are a hypothetical concept in theoretical physics and philosophy that describes a collection of potentially infinite, non-interacting universes. The idea suggests that our own universe might be just one of many existing in a larger, overarching structure. These other universes, often referred to as parallel universes or alternate realities, would exist alongside our own but would be completely inaccessible and undetectable from within our universe.

The concept of peruniverses arises from various cosmological theories, including certain interpretations of quantum mechanics and inflationary cosmology. In quantum mechanics, the Many-Worlds Interpretation proposes that every quantum measurement causes the universe to split into multiple branches, each representing a different possible outcome. Inflationary cosmology suggests that the rapid expansion of the early universe could have created numerous "bubble universes" that bud off from each other.

While the existence of peruniverses remains purely speculative, the concept provides a framework for exploring fundamental questions about the nature of reality, causality, and the vastness of existence. There is currently no empirical evidence to support or refute the existence of peruniverses, and their study is primarily confined to theoretical discussions and thought experiments. The term itself is not widely established and may vary in usage across different theoretical frameworks.
