Persianization
Persianization refers to the process by which a non-Persian people adopts the Persian language, culture, and identity. This phenomenon has been a recurring theme in the history of the Persianate world, particularly during periods of Persian imperial expansion and cultural influence. The adoption of Persian was not solely linguistic; it often involved embracing Persian customs, literature, art, and social norms.
