PersadBissessar

PersadBissessar is a name that can refer to several individuals, most notably a prominent political figure in Trinidad and Tobago. The most recognized individual is Kamla Persad-Bissessar, a lawyer and politician who served as the seventh Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago from 2010 to 2015. She was the first woman to hold this office in the country. Persad-Bissessar led the People's Partnership coalition to victory in the 2010 general election, succeeding Patrick Manning. Her tenure as Prime Minister saw various policy initiatives and faced significant economic challenges during her term.
