Parwez
Parwez is primarily associated with Inayat Ahmad Parwez, a 20th-century Muslim scholar and reformist who authored the Quranic exegesis Tafsir-e-Parwez. Writing in the Indian subcontinent during the mid-20th century, Parwez produced a number of works focusing on the interpretation of the Qur'an for contemporary readers. His approach emphasized the rational investigation of religious texts, rejection of blind imitation (taqlid), and the practical application of Qur'anic guidance to politics, society, and personal conduct. He sought to present Islam as a comprehensive system of belief and action compatible with modern science and social justice.
