Paris Orly Airport, designated by the IATA code ORY and the ICAO code LFPO, is an international airport located partially in Orly and partially in Villeneuve-le-Roi, 13 kilometers (8.1 miles) south of Paris, France. It is the second busiest airport in France and the eleventh busiest in Europe, serving as a major hub for domestic and European flights, as well as some intercontinental services.
Originally established as a French Air Force base, Orly was opened to civilian air traffic in 1946.
Its strategic location and extensive network make it a vital gateway to Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France
