Paperireseptejä

Historically, these were the primary means by which physicians communicated medication orders to pharmacists. A paperiresepti would typically contain the patient's name, the medication prescribed, the dosage, the frequency of administration, and the duration of treatment. It also included the prescriber's signature and license information.

The advent of electronic health records and electronic prescribing systems has led to a significant decline in the use of paperireseptejä in many parts of the world. Electronic prescriptions offer several advantages, including reduced risk of errors due to illegible handwriting, improved efficiency in processing, and enhanced security.
