Paksushöövlit

Paksushöövlit, also known as a thickness planer or simply planer, is a woodworking machine used to mill wood to a uniform thickness. It is an essential tool in woodworking shops, both for professional craftsmen and hobbyists, as it allows for the precise dimensioning of lumber.

The basic principle of a paksushöövlit involves a rotating cutterhead equipped with knives or blades that remove thin shavings of wood from the surface of a board. The board is fed into the machine and passed over the cutterhead, which is set at a specific height. As the wood moves through the machine, the knives shave off material until the desired thickness is achieved.
