PWMdigitaalinen refers to a digital method of implementing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). PWM is a technique for controlling the average power delivered to an electrical load by switching the supply voltage on and off rapidly. In traditional analog PWM, this switching is controlled by analog circuitry. PWMdigitaalinen, on the other hand, utilizes digital logic and microcontrollers to generate and control the PWM signal.

This digital approach offers several advantages. Microcontrollers provide precise control over the duty cycle, which is the ratio of the on-time to the total period of the signal.
