Pääpolttokammio is a Finnish term that translates to "main combustion chamber" in English. It refers to the primary chamber within a combustion engine where the majority of the fuel-air mixture is ignited and burns. This is the area where the expansion of gases from combustion drives the piston or rotor, ultimately generating mechanical power.
