Oxigéntranszmisszió
Oxigéntranszmisszió refers to the process by which oxygen moves from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration. This fundamental principle applies across various biological and chemical systems. In the context of respiration, oxygen is taken into the lungs where it diffuses across the alveolar membrane into the bloodstream. This diffusion is driven by the partial pressure gradient of oxygen between the alveoli and the pulmonary capillaries. Once in the blood, oxygen binds to hemoglobin within red blood cells and is transported to tissues throughout the body.
At the cellular level, oxygen again moves down its concentration gradient from the blood into the interstitial
