Oszilloskopen

Oszilloskopen, often referred to as oscilloscopes, are electronic test instruments used to display and analyze the characteristics of electrical signals. They graphically represent voltage as a function of time, plotting the instantaneous voltage of a signal on the vertical (Y) axis against time on the horizontal (X) axis. This visual representation allows engineers and technicians to observe the waveform, amplitude, frequency, and other properties of electronic signals.

The fundamental components of a basic oscilloscope include a display screen, typically a cathode ray tube (CRT) or a liquid crystal display (LCD), and input circuitry that conditions the incoming signal for display. Modern oscilloscopes are digital and can store waveforms, perform mathematical analysis, and connect to computers for data logging and further processing.
