Orangetown

Orangetown is a town in Rockland County, New York, United States. Located on the western bank of the Hudson River, it fronts the river opposite Bergen County, New Jersey. The name derives from the Dutch House of Orange-Nassau, in honor of William III of Orange. The town includes several incorporated villages and numerous hamlets and unincorporated areas along the river, notably Nyack, South Nyack, and Piermont.
