Optionstimes is a term that refers to the time period during which an options contract is valid and can be exercised by the holder. This period is defined by the option's expiration date. Before the expiration date, the option is considered "in-the-money" if its intrinsic value is positive, "at-the-money" if its intrinsic value is zero, or "out-of-the-money" if its intrinsic value is negative. The value of an option is influenced by several factors, including the underlying asset's price, the strike price, time to expiration, volatility, and interest rates.
