Oebisfelde

Oebisfelde is a town and former municipality in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. As of January 1, 2010, it is part of the municipality of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen. The town is situated on the Aller River, approximately 25 kilometers northwest of Haldensleben and 15 kilometers south of Wolfsburg. Oebisfelde has a history dating back to the Middle Ages, with its origins likely tied to a settlement on a trade route.

The town's economic development was influenced by its location and agricultural surroundings.
