Odprowadzaj

Odprowadzaj is the imperative form of the Polish verb odprowadzać, which means to lead away, escort, or accompany someone to a destination. The core sense is interpersonal: to guide a person or an animal from one place to another and ensure their safe arrival, for example by walking someone to the door, to a station, or home. In addition to this, odprowadzać can also mean to route away liquids or waste, i.e., to drain or discharge substances from a space into a sewer or drainage system.

The verb exists in both imperfective and perfective aspects. The imperfective form is odprowadzać, used for ongoing or repeated acts, while the perfective counterpart is odprowadzić, used for a completed action. Corresponding imperative forms include odprowadzaj (singular) and odprowadzajcie (plural) for the imperfective, and odprowadź (singular) and odprowadźcie (plural) for the perfective.
