Négyszögeket

Négyszögeket, which translates to "quadrilaterals" in English, refers to a fundamental geometric shape in Euclidean geometry. A quadrilateral is a polygon with four edges (or sides) and four vertices (or corners). The sum of the interior angles of any simple quadrilateral is always 360 degrees.

Quadrilaterals can be classified into various types based on the properties of their sides and angles. Some common types include: parallelograms, where opposite sides are parallel and equal in length, and opposite angles are equal; rectangles, which are parallelograms with four right angles; squares, which are rectangles with all sides equal in length; rhombuses, which are parallelograms with all sides equal in length; trapezoids, which have at least one pair of parallel sides; and kites, which have two pairs of equal-length sides that are adjacent to each other.

The area of a quadrilateral can be calculated using different formulas depending on its type. For a general quadrilateral, if the lengths of the diagonals are $p$ and $q$, and the angle between them is $\theta$, the area is given by $\frac{1}{2}pq \sin(\theta)$. For a cyclic quadrilateral (one whose vertices all lie on a circle), Brahmagupta's formula can be used.
