Näytönsuhteita, or aspect ratios, describe the proportional relationship between an image's width and its height. This ratio is fundamental to how visual content is displayed on screens, in photography, and in film. Common aspect ratios include 4:3, which was standard for older televisions and many computer monitors, and 16:9, the current standard for high-definition televisions and most modern displays. Wider cinematic aspect ratios, such as 2.35:1 or 2.39:1, are used for movies to create a more immersive viewing experience.
The choice of aspect ratio affects how an image is framed and perceived. When content is displayed
