NyugatSzumátra

Nyugat-Szumátra (Indonesian: *Sumatera Barat*) is a province located on the western part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It borders Aceh to the north, North Sumatra to the northeast, Riau to the east, and the Indian Ocean to the west. The capital and largest city of the province is Padang, which serves as the economic and administrative center.

The province is known for its diverse geography, featuring volcanic mountains, fertile valleys, and coastal plains. Notable landmarks include Mount Marapi, an active volcano that is sacred to the local Minangkabau people, and the scenic Lake Maninjau.
