Nyirokkapillárisokból

Nyirokkapillárisokból refers to a Hungarian anatomical term describing structures within the lymphatic system. These are tiny, blind-ended vessels that begin in the tissues of the body. They are the smallest components of the lymphatic network, serving as the initial point where interstitial fluid, along with absorbed fats and waste products, enters the lymphatic circulation.

The walls of nyirokkapillárisokból are exceptionally thin, composed of a single layer of endothelial cells. This structure facilitates the efficient uptake of fluid and substances from the surrounding interstitial space. Unlike blood capillaries, lymphatic capillaries have a unique flap-valve system formed by overlapping endothelial cells. These valves open inward, allowing interstitial fluid and larger molecules to enter but preventing backflow.

Once inside the nyirokkapillárisokból, the fluid is known as lymph. This lymph then travels through progressively larger lymphatic vessels, eventually returning to the bloodstream. The primary function of nyirokkapillárisokból is to collect excess fluid and proteins that have leaked out of blood capillaries, preventing tissue swelling (edema). They also play a crucial role in the transport of absorbed dietary fats from the digestive system and in the immune response by carrying immune cells and foreign antigens to lymph nodes.
