Nulinis
Nulinis is a small village situated in the Kėdainiai district municipality in Kaunas County, central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the population was 97, reflecting its status as a sparsely inhabited rural settlement. The village lies approximately 11 kilometres east of the town of Kėdainiai, near the intersection of local road 355 and a branch of the A9 highway, and is located in the valley of the Šušvė River. The earliest recorded mention of Nulinis dates back to 1586, when it was listed in the archives of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth as “Nulinys.” In the 19th century the village was noted for a modest manor house owned by a local noble family and a wooden cross erected in 1832, which still stands as a local landmark. The local economy has traditionally been based on small‑scale agriculture, with residents cultivating rye, potatoes, and flax; in recent years some residents have also taken part in eco‑tourism, offering guided nature walks and traditional crafts around the nearby forested hills. Nulinis falls under the administration of the Dotnėvėlė eldership and is governed through a village elder who reports to the eldership council. The village observes Eastern European Time (UTC+2) and Eastern European Summer Time (UTC+3) during daylight saving.
