Nubra
Nubra refers to the Nubra Valley, a high-altitude basin in the Leh district of the union territory of Ladakh, India. The valley lies in the north of the region, between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, and is formed along the Nubra River, a tributary of the Shyok River which is part of the Indus river system. The area sits at elevations around 2,500 to 3,500 meters above sea level and experiences a cold desert climate with wide temperature fluctuations between day and night.
