Nsimalen

Nsimalen, officially Nsimalen International Airport, is the international airport that serves Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. Its IATA code is NSI and its ICAO code is FKKN. The airport is located in the Nsimalen district in the Centre Region, roughly southwest of Yaoundé’s city center.

Nsimalen is Cameroon's main international gateway and handles a mix of international and domestic flights. It operates as a hub for Camair-Co and serves a variety of international, regional, and domestic carriers depending on schedules. The facility includes a passenger terminal with customs and immigration facilities and cargo handling capabilities to support both passenger and freight traffic.

The airport was developed in the late 1990s and began serving travelers in the early 2000s, as part of a broader effort to modernize Cameroon’s air transport infrastructure and provide a more centralized aviation hub for the country.
