Nortonmodellen

Nortonmodellen, also known as Norton models, are a series of motorcycles produced by Norton Motorcycles, a British motorcycle manufacturer. The term "Nortonmodellen" is a German translation of the English term "Norton models." The company was founded in 1898 by John Norton and has a rich history in the motorcycle industry. Norton motorcycles are known for their distinctive design, which often features a single cylinder engine and a unique frame design. The Norton Commandos, introduced in the 1950s, are particularly iconic and have become a symbol of British motorcycle culture. Over the years, Norton has produced a variety of models, including the Norton Atlas, Norton Dominator, and Norton Commando. Despite facing financial difficulties in the late 20th century, Norton was acquired by Indian Motorcycles in 2009, which has since continued to produce and market Norton motorcycles.
