Norderstedt is a city in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, located just north of Hamburg. It is the fourth-largest city in Schleswig-Holstein by population. Norderstedt was formed in 1970 through the merger of four independent municipalities: Garstedt, Glashütte, Harksheide, and Ochsenzoll.
