Nominálisan

Nominálisan is an adverb used in Czech and Slovak to describe something in nominal terms—on paper, in name, or at face value rather than in practice. It derives from the adjective nominální meaning nominal.

In economics and finance, nominálisan refers to values stated without adjusting for inflation or changes in purchasing power. Terms described in nominal terms include nominal GDP, nominal wages, nominal interest rates, and nominal exchange rates. These figures reflect the stated amount or price, not the real value after price changes. By contrast, real terms adjust for inflation, revealing what those numbers actually mean in purchasing power.
