Niederschlagsmessgeräten
Niederschlagsmessgeräte, often referred to as rain gauges, are instruments used to measure the amount of precipitation over a specific period. They are fundamental tools in meteorology, hydrology, and agriculture for understanding weather patterns and water availability. The most common type is the simple rain gauge, which consists of a collecting cylinder or funnel that collects rainwater. The amount of collected water is then measured, typically in millimeters or inches, often by reading a scale on the container or by weighing the collected water.
Different types of rain gauges exist to suit various applications and accuracy requirements. Standard rain gauges
