Nhomen is a Fon word that designates the second-hand market in Benin. It refers to the various used goods stalls and vendors typically located near markets, where people can buy and sell second-hand items. In the Fon and related languages, the term "nhomen" literally means "new things," although it is used in the context of referrng to items that were previously used by someone else.

Each nhomen market in Benin, often located near the central markets, typically consists of a collection of vendors who carefully organize their wares on the sidewalk or in open-air stands. Vendors sell a wide array of products, including clothing, kitchenware, electrical appliances, tools, and even furniture. The goods are often second-hand, sourced from other cities, towns, or neighboring countries.
