Neutronos

Neutronos are hypothetical elementary particles that are thought to be a constituent of dark matter. The term "neutrons" is a portmanteau of "neutron" and "elektron," reflecting the particle's proposed properties. Neutronos are theorized to be electrically neutral and to interact with ordinary matter only through gravity and the weak nuclear force. This weak interaction would explain why they have not yet been directly detected.

The concept of neutronos arose from attempts to explain the observed rotation curves of galaxies and the gravitational lensing effects of galaxy clusters. These astronomical observations suggest the presence of a significant amount of unseen mass, known as dark matter, which does not emit, absorb, or reflect light. Traditional models of dark matter include WIMPs (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles) and axions, but neutronos offer an alternative explanation.

If neutronos exist, they would be part of the Standard Model's extended sector, potentially having a mass in the range of several GeV/c². Their detection remains a significant challenge in particle physics and astrophysics. Experiments designed to search for dark matter particles, such as direct detection experiments deep underground or indirect detection experiments looking for annihilation products, could potentially provide evidence for or against the existence of neutronos. The ongoing quest for understanding dark matter continues to drive research in these fields, with neutronos representing one of many theoretical possibilities being explored.
