Neuromag
Neuromag is a brand of magnetoencephalography (MEG) systems manufactured by Elekta. MEG is a non-invasive neuroimaging technique used to measure magnetic fields produced by electrical activity in the brain. These magnetic fields are extremely faint and require highly sensitive sensors to detect. Neuromag systems employ SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) sensors, which are cooled to very low temperatures to achieve the necessary sensitivity.
The primary application of Neuromag systems is in neuroscience research and clinical diagnostics. Researchers use MEG
