Nemanji
Nemanji, also rendered Nemanjic or Nemanjić, refers to the Nemanjic dynasty, the medieval Serbian royal house that ruled over the Serbian state from the late 12th century to the mid-14th century. The dynasty emerged from the rising Serbian principality within the Byzantine cultural sphere and played a central role in shaping medieval Serbian statehood, Church organization, and royal legitimacy.
