Nahhas
Nahhas is a small village located in the northern part of the West Bank, a region of Palestine. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers east of the city of Jenin, and is part of the Jenin Governorate. The village has a population of around 1,500 people, primarily consisting of Palestinian Arabs. Nahhas is known for its agricultural activities, with a significant portion of its land used for cultivating olives, grapes, and other fruits. The village also has a small industrial zone, which includes a few small factories and workshops. Nahhas is served by a local primary school and a health center, which provide basic education and healthcare services to the community. The village is connected to the nearby city of Jenin by a local road, and is also accessible by public transportation. Nahhas is a relatively peaceful village, with a low level of conflict and violence. However, like many other Palestinian villages, it has been affected by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with some of its residents having been displaced or affected by the conflict in the past. The village is also home to a number of historical sites, including a few ancient ruins and a mosque dating back to the Ottoman period. Despite its small size, Nahhas plays an important role in the local economy and community, and is an important part of the broader Palestinian society.
