Nahasärritus, also known as skin irritation, is a common dermatological condition characterized by redness, itching, burning, or stinging sensations on the skin. It can arise from various external stimuli that disrupt the skin's natural protective barrier. Common causes include contact with irritants like harsh soaps, detergents, certain chemicals, perfumes, and abrasive materials. Allergic reactions, where the immune system overreacts to a substance, can also lead to a more severe form of skin irritation known as allergic contact dermatitis.

The symptoms of nahasärritus can range from mild discomfort to more pronounced inflammation and even blistering, depending on the cause and the individual's sensitivity.
