Nagybecskerek
Nagybecskerek is the Hungarian name for the city now known as Zrenjanin. It is located in the Vojvodina region of Serbia, situated in the Banat area. The city lies on the Begej River, a tributary of the Tisa. Historically, Nagybecskerek was a significant administrative and economic center within the Kingdom of Hungary and later within the Austrian Empire and Austria-Hungary.
