NSCLCssä
NSCLC, or Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, is a type of lung cancer that accounts for approximately 85% of all lung cancer cases. It is characterized by the growth of abnormal cells in the lungs that do not resemble small cell lung cancer cells. NSCLC is further classified into three main subtypes: adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma. Adenocarcinoma is the most common subtype, accounting for about 40% of all lung cancers, and is often associated with smoking. Squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common subtype, accounting for about 30% of cases, and is also strongly linked to smoking. Large cell carcinoma is the least common subtype, accounting for about 10% of cases, and its cause is often unknown.
NSCLC can present with symptoms such as coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath, and weight loss. Diagnosis
